Last May, Panalpina added Querétaro International Airport (QRO) in Mexico to the “Speedy” loop of its Charter Network, making it the first and only company to offer a transatlantic flight from Querétaro to London Stansted Airport (STN) in the UK and to Luxembourg (LUX) via Huntsville, offering contingency solutions for medical, food supply and other urgent goods in light of Brexit.
LATAM Cargo begins direct service between Bogotá and Panalpina's Huntsville gateway

For the first time in its history, LATAM Cargo flew a direct route between the cities of Bogotá, Colombia, and Huntsville, Alabama, United States. The new cargo-only route was opened on December 2, 2018, and will be operated once weekly. The new service marks an important milestone for Panalpina as the company continuously expands its Charter Network and the Perishables Network.
Shipping a helideck to Argentina

Panalpina recently delivered the main components for the AM3 offshore platform of the Area Magallanes Incremental Project (PIAM in Spanish) from Texas in the US to Punta Quilla, Argentina. The move was commissioned by EPC Techint, which provides worldwide engineering, procurement, construction, operation and management for high complexity, large-scale projects.
Panalpina is CTPAT re-validated by the US Customs and Border Protection

US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) carried out an audit and re-validation of Panalpina’s CTPAT standing as a consolidator and broker. CTPAT is a public-private sector partnership program which recognizes that CBP can provide the highest level of cargo security only through close cooperation with the principle stakeholders of the international supply chain.
Panalpina launches scheduled flights to Querétaro, Mexico

As of today, May 18, 2018, Panalpina has added Querétaro International Airport (QRO) in Mexico to the “Speedy” loop of its Charter Network, which also connects Mexico City (MEX) and Guadalajara (GDL) with Panalpina’s air freight gateway in Huntsville (HSV), Alabama. Panalpina is the only freight carrier to serve three international airports with scheduled flights within and out of Mexico.

Panalpina recently helped to move one from CERN in Switzerland to Fermilab at the University of Chicago, where it arrived at the end of July 2017. It was a closely watched voyage.

Panalpina wins large five-year contract with oil and gas major for Iraqi project

Panalpina has gained its largest award with a specific oil and gas major to date. The company was awarded with a long-term contract to manage transportation for a gas project in Iraq. The contract will run over a minimum of five years and involve high air and LCL (less than container load) ocean freight volumes. Work has already begun.
Brazil Wings celebrates successful first year

Since Brazil Wings launched in 2015, customers have mostly used it for high-tech products, heavy machines and equipment for agriculture, chemicals as well as aerospace and consumer goods.
